First Week

In the first week, we were just getting introduced to the art of story telling. We had watch a few videos about the story called the Ramayana and of Indonesian Gamelan music. The story of Ramayana is a story related to the festival of Diwali. The Gamelan music is very religious and we learnt about its Unison and Harmonies. If some one steps over the instruments it is considered useless and lost its connection to god. It has a very metallic feel to it. Here are some links to some Gamelan music...
